Love that is needed...

Life throws curve balls at us all the time. Mine was thrown at me on October 8th. My sweet Joey went to be with Jesus. Joey was a very special boy that showed love like no one could ever do. Joey always saw the good in everything. I will miss him dearly but will wait for my time to be with him again.

Family isn't about whose blood you have. It's about who you care about.

Till we meet again...I love you Baby Boy!

With everything that has happen in the last two weeks, it just shows how important family and friends are. How appropriate to use time for...friends & wine for some family love for this card.

Using Copic markers, I colored each of the girls hair and skin and simply colored the heart on each girl. I wanted the heart to stand out and be the focus of each girl.

 Copic markers used: E07 - Light Mahogany; E30 - Bisque; E49 - Dark Bark; E57 - Light Walnut;
RV06 - Cerise; and Y21 - Buttercup Yellow

Thank you for taking a look

Thanks and Gratitude - {ippity} Release day!

It is October 5th and that means it is {ippity} Release day!

First up is Thanks for all Things. As soon as I saw this set, I feel in love with the tree. You will see my card below and see how much fun I had with it.

Next is time for...friends & wine. What a great set for girls night card, best friends card or a sister card. I love the sayings that are in this set too.

On to the card...Whenever I see the new stamp sets, I start looking for the perfect paper to showcase the set. The new fall collection for WeR was an easy pick for this stamp set. The tree style was so similar - when I saw the paper in the store, I almost screamed with glee out loud. So I just grinned and bought my find. Hopefully, you enjoy it as much as I had making it.

Detail shot of the tree. I colored the leaves with Copic markers to coordinate with the paper. To add a level of depth to the tree, I used YR30 to add a slight shading to the tree to distinguish to tree from the cardstock.

Copic Markers used: BG72 - Ice Ocean; Y26 - Mustard; YG95 - Pale Olive; YR18 - Sanguine; and
YR30 - Macadamia Nut
Remember, there is always free shipping on all orders. And all orders receive a grab bag stamp and a handmade card added to the order. So have fun shopping for {ippity} stamps.

Enjoy!

Here is the hop order for Day 3:

Kimberly Cook YOU ARE HERE

To pick a favorite {ippity} stamp set was extremely difficult because I love them all. However, for this blog hop, I picked ALL things are POSSIBLE. I believe this stamp set has no boundaries. I chose to create my card focusing on the ribbon being pink. Pink, we all know, is the awareness ribbon color for breast cancer.

Here is a link to a website that I found that list out all of the Awareness Ribbon Colors. When I was reading over the list, I was surprised to see that Celiac Disease had a ribbon color since I always see the butterfly representing the disease. For more information about Celiac Disease, go to www.celiac.org

Here is my creation using ALL things are POSSIBLE:

For extra chances, you can post comments on any other post this week too thru the 6th, but remember to comment on this post for sure. To one random follower/commenter, I will be giving away the beautiful set that I used to create this card - ALL things are POSSIBLE. Good luck!
