I decided to create with New Season, New Wonder. I just love this fruit stamp set.

Here is my simple and quick thank you card that I created with this set. All I used was kraft paper for the base of my card and for the stamp image base, two pieces of patterned paper, memento tuxedo black ink, chestnut chalk ink, three buttons, and thread for the buttons.

And with every order of $25 or more your shipping is free. Thank you for taking a look at the card and happy shopping.

Uniquely Unity...

I was so excited when Archiver's called to tell me that my kit for the Uniquely Unity class was in. I immediately paid for it over the phone so that I would for sure get it. Then on Mother's Day I was able to swing by my local Archiver's to pick it up. And a crafting I began...

I love the papers in the kit and the stamps. Of course, I love the stamps - Unity Stamp Company. Love them! I created this card using multiple inks, Copic markers, ribbon, and of course, paper. I stamped the rose image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a ATC watercolor paper and colored the image with Copic markers. When the image was finished, I distressed the edges with an edge distresser. And a finishing touch of spritz with a pearl spritz. The patterned paper is edged with Distress Ink using direct to paper and the saying is stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Memento Rich Cocoa ink, Distress Ink Crushed Olive
Copic Markers - BG11, BG13, BG15, G94, G99

Enjoy!

Simple...well maybe

Simple layouts may not always be so simple. This simple layout that I created for one of my husband's and my trips to Animal Kingdom to the eye can be deceiving. Multiple patterned papers and layering of stickers both from Reminisce is what takes this layout to the next step.
This detail shot shows tearing of paper, dimension to the sticker title, and a photo that is popped up with pop dots.
In this detail shot, the journaling is simply placed under the matted photos of one of our favorite lookouts.
Enjoy!

Up, Up, & Away

Living in Howell, Michigan, gives many opportunities to see hot air balloons. But these were the extreme of seeing hot air balloons. These pictures were taken from our deck. We were able to talk to the people that were floating in the baskets. One of our dachshunds, Pal Pal, was going nuts. When I created these pages, I wanted to keep it simple with some creativity, but all the focus to be on the pictures.

I used Scenic Route papers for a simple colorful design for the layout itself. I choose not to mat the photos but simple sand the edge to make the stand out on their own.
The hot air balloon and adventure saying are from Unity Stamp Company. The balloon is colored in using Copic Markers. Each stamped image is matted on light blue cardstock and the balloon is pop dotted up for added emphasis.
To bring a tiny bit of bling to this project, I used American Crafts Foam Thickers with glitter alphabet stickers for my title. I am in love with foam sticker alphabets. I don't know why, but it maybe that I get dimension without weight added to the page. And you can see to the top of the title area, I tore the top of the paper for a little bit more dimension.
Enjoy!

Looking on the Brighter Side

Sometimes, we just need a little picker upper and I don't mean paper towels either. I created this card for my cousin in California that needs a little reminder that life can always get better. I used an itty bitty stamp from Unity Stamp Company. I just love their stamps. The base of the card is a dark green cardstock and I used K&Co. papers for the patterned papers. On my stamped image, I used tea leaves chalk ink to soften the edges. Ribbon, ribbon, ribbon - oh how I love ribbon. I seem to find it on most of my projects. And one final touch, I brought out an old tool that is a goodies. Decorative edge scissors. I used the deckle edge style at the top of the striped paper. You can notice it more in this second picture of the card.
Enjoy!
